This is a customized and in-person lesson, that will focus exclusively on your learning needs. You can choose 5 sessions for 1 hour each or 4 lessons of 1 hour and 15min each Course Description This customized, in-person course focuses exclusively on the participant’s learning needs. Explanations and exercises will be adapted to their current skill level, computer equipment, daily activities, and personal or professional goals. The participant may choose between: * Five 1-hour sessions, or * Four 1-hour and 15-minute sessions. Upon completion, the participant will receive an **iKnowledge School Certificate of Completion**. Overall Objective To develop the essential skills needed to use a computer with greater confidence, independence, and productivity. The course covers file organization, Internet navigation, practical Windows tools, and an introduction to Copilot and ChatGPT. *****Module 1 ***** Getting to Know Your Computer Objective: Become familiar with the main parts of a computer and learn the basic functions of Windows. Topics * Main parts of a computer. * Differences between hardware and software. * Keyboard, mouse, monitor, camera, microphone, and ports. * Windows desktop, Start menu, and taskbar. * How to open, switch between, and close programs. * Basic mouse functions: * Click. * Double-click. * Right-click. * Drag and drop. * Scroll wheel. * Basic volume, display, and Wi-Fi settings. * How to properly shut down and restart the computer. Practice The participant will open different programs, switch between windows, identify the main parts of the Windows interface, and practice using the keyboard and mouse. Expected Outcome The participant will be able to identify the main components of their computer and navigate the basic Windows environment with greater confidence. *****Module 2 — File Explorer and Document Organization***** Objective: Learn how to create, save, locate, and organize files and folders. Most Common Topics Covered * Parts of a computer. * How to use File Explorer. * Frequently used keyboard shortcuts and Windows features. * How to use Copilot and ChatGPT. * How to navigate browsers such as Chrome and Edge. * How to use the Snipping Tool.
